Today was a typical day at work... my boss annoyed the shit out of me like she does everyday, however I still found time to strike up a meaningless conversation with my co-worker. She asked me a question that had me a lil stumped, just a lil. She asked "don't you hate it when people just slide into your DM?", curious, I indulged...she proceeded to express how exasperatingly annoying it is when random people direct message you on Instagram. So I asked "is your page public?" she said YASSS. Now I'm thinking if your page is public than you are openly inviting insta-creepers to lurk on your page. I couldn't wrap my mind around why people with public pages, would get all offended to receive DM's from strangers. I mean having a public page leaves you open to be insta-creeped because clearly you don't mind a zillion eyes dissecting every selfie you post. At the end of our meaningless chat I think she got the message that her ego needed to be checked and deflated, and that I really didn't mind tripping her off her gram pedestal. Whats the logic in being okay with a billion likes from random people and than throwing shade on DM'S that are probably without a doubt from the rack of unknown people who contributed to your Insta-fame.

INSTAGRAM DM's
