With no second guessing, BEYONCE takes the crown for best dress at the 2014 Met Gala. In a  stunning Givenchy Couture masterpiece, unified with the Philip Treacy veil she looked elegant, daring, alluring and mysterious, all flowing together seamlessly. The view was spectacular at all angles. The black stud detailing is exquisite and the glimmer off the dress sparkled with perfection under the spotlight. Jay-Z  also wearing Givenchy, looked dapper, and classic. This style forward pair definitely know how to conquer the red carpet.

Tips on Boosting Energy in the Morning

1. Get out of bed... once you've established your not dreaming anymore. Idling in bed only makes you more comfortable among your sheets.

2. Breath. Take huge deep breaths, maximizing use of the diaphragm, and breath out. To many of us start our day with out balancing out are energy with this simple step.

3. Heighten your mental state, and energy vibrations. Out loud, say positive  affirmative affirmations. The key is to say these affirmations with zest, power, and belief.

4. Get physical. Move. Get some form of exercise into your morning routine to elevate, and boost energy levels. Whether it be Yoga, or  Cardiovascular movements, you need to loosen those muscles in the morning!

5. Breakfast is King. Don’t settle for just coffee and a donut! Please No. Get fiber , protein, and fruits high in  antioxidants into your body early. Shakes are a great idea if you don't have much time to spare.  Invest in a magic bullet.

The above tips are worth a try if your seeking energy, and a happier state of being to kick-start the day!

Never thought I would be hunting for a winter jacket in March! Sadly this is the case in Toronto, the Great
White North. A few weeks ago, I was excited to order
the Alpinetek ladies Parka above, to only find out it was sold out at all stores brick and mortor and online. Alpinetek ladies Parka's have had amazing reviews. Its claim to fame is its goose similarities, often said to be the Canada Goose sister jacket. Being the goose sister parka has flamed some legal controversy however the parka was re -stocked online and I am not complaining! This parka achieves the warmth of the great goose at half the price. I purchased it online at Sears.ca for a total of $234.95.

Metallic Purses, Clutches and Rob Ford

Blink... that was January 1, 2014. Blink again and in crucial disbelief it's January 22, 2014. It is - 100 in Toronto where I currently reside, and although I just tuned into CP24 to witness another Mayor Rob Ford  late night takeover (where he surprisingly breaks out Jamaican patois linguistics), I am thinking about when I can embrace striking  metallic coral florescent clutches, and zesty gold quilted shoulder bags.
